đź“° “Frustrated Netanyahu Wants Trump Back on the Battlefield”— Analysts Say Israeli PM Seeks Stronger U.S. Military Support

đź“° “Netanyahu Is Frustrated — He Wants Trump in the War, Not in Waiting,” Says Israeli Analyst

As the Iran-Israel conflict intensifies, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his coalition are reportedly growing increasingly anxious over Donald Trump’s hesitation to engage in the escalating crisis.

According to Gideon Levy, a prominent columnist for Israeli daily Haaretz, Netanyahu is “deeply frustrated” by signs that Trump may wait “a few more weeks” before making any decisive move regarding the Middle East conflict.

Speaking to Al Jazeera, Levy stated:

“In this reality, two weeks is an eternity. If Trump really intends to wait — and this isn’t just a political maneuver — then the likelihood of the U.S. joining the war is dropping fast.”

⚠️ Strategic Uncertainty in Tel Aviv

Analysts believe Netanyahu is banking on Trump’s return to power to restore a more aggressive U.S. stance in the region. However, Trump’s delay in committing has reportedly alarmed Israeli leadership, who see time as a critical factor.

Even if Israel succeeds in striking Iran’s nuclear sites or damaging its missile defense systems, Levy cautions that it won’t guarantee long-term security.

“Nothing will be solved,” he said. “Iran will rebuild its capabilities. And Israel will continue facing other unresolved threats — like Gaza.”

đź’Ł Bigger Picture: An Endless Security Dilemma

Gideon Levy warned that Israel’s broader security problems are not going away, regardless of short-term military achievements. Gaza remains a chronic issue, and Iran’s ability to regroup suggests that a purely military solution may offer only temporary relief.
