💔 Gaza Horror Deepens: 82 Palestinians Killed in 24 Hours While Collecting Food Aid
At least 82 Palestinians were killed within the last 24 hours in a new wave of Israeli air and ground assaults across the Gaza Strip, according to a Saturday report by Al Jazeera. Many of the victims were civilians simply trying to collect food and humanitarian aid.
🛑 Aid Distribution Turns Deadly
The Gaza Health Ministry confirmed that 34 people were killed directly while attempting to receive food and aid. Among them were women and children. Most of the strikes occurred near food distribution points operated by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, a controversial aid group reportedly backed by Israel and the United States.
🩸 Massacre in Central Gaza
One of the deadliest attacks took place in central Gaza, where Israeli forces allegedly opened fire on a crowd of civilians waiting for food. At least 23 people were killed on the spot, Al Jazeera reported.
In southern Gaza, 11 more people were killed in a separate attack. Further north, an airstrike on a residential building near Deir al-Balah caused additional casualties, while intense bombing in Gaza City led to 23 more deaths in a single day.
📉 Humanitarian Collapse in Gaza
According to Gaza's Government Media Office, since May 27, a total of 409 civilians have been killed while attempting to receive aid. Over 3,200 others have been injured in similar attacks targeting food and water distribution areas.
🚨 UN and UNICEF Raise Alarms
The United Nations and multiple international human rights groups have condemned the repeated attacks on civilians, especially near humanitarian aid centers.
UNICEF spokesperson James Elder described Gaza's condition as:
“Catastrophic. Gaza is suffering from a man-made drought due to the collapse of water infrastructure.”
Only 40% of Gaza's clean water systems are operational, and the risk of children dying from thirst is increasing daily.
⚠️ The World Watches in Silence
Despite international outcry, humanitarian corridors remain under fire, and aid deliveries are becoming increasingly dangerous. Analysts warn that targeting civilians at aid stations may constitute war crimes under international law.
